Making sure you and your pet receives the best possible care day AND night.

While we are open 52 weeks, 362 days a year with our standard opening hours, when the doors finally close at 7pm (7.30 pm at Ealing) we also make arrangements to ensure that a new fresh team is available to care for you and your pet after hours 24/7.

We have several options depending on need and where you live; from hospitalisation facilities at each of our clinics for on-going cases, to access to an all-night A & E hospital - the full medical and surgical service emergency specialists - our primary partner, Vets Now.

This is a countrywide, dedicated emergency Practice, consisting of dedicated emergency Vets who work from a local veterinary hospital in partnership with us to ensure your pet receives the best veterinary care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Veterinary Surgeons and Veterinary Nurses work specifically within emergency and critical care (ECC), similar to the A & E department of a human hospital. This ensures that there is always an experienced Critical Care vet available to consult over the phone and to immediately swing into action and provide comprehensive medical and surgical services when you need them. Vets Now clinic is based at Barnfield Veterinary Hospital at HA1 4HN which is 7.6 miles and an average of 22 minute drive from our Northfield Avenue surgery. Also at Willet House at 138 Kingston Road, Staines, Middlesex, TW18 1BL which is 7.5 miles and an average of 20 minutes drive from our Whitton Surgery.

Another option for clients living to the south is Medivet Richmond SW14 7HX This is a 20 minute drive from our Osterley & Ealing surgeries and a 15 minute drive from our Whitton Surgery

Also North Surrey Veterinary Emergencies at 4 Park Rd East Molesey Surrey KT8 9LE

All through the night the Veterinary Surgeons and nurses on these emergency services are ready to give Alcombe Veterinary Surgery clients emergency treatment and advice.

All types of small animal emergencies due to illness or accident are seen, including cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs and other small furry animals that have become ill or involved in an accident. They are also on hand should you have an emergency with any exotic pet such as a snake, lizard or parrot.

We would advise all our clients to drive the route to the nearest Emergency Hospital before an emergency situation arises, so you are familiar with the route.
